Last updated: March 9, 2026
1. Your Right to Erasure
In accordance with Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to obtain the erasure of your personal data. Sublim Analytics processes any deletion request within 30 days of receipt.
2. Data Covered by Deletion
Account data
Upon account deletion: name, email address, billing information, preferences and application settings.
Analytics data
All analytics data collected by your tracking script (page views, sessions, events) is permanently deleted. As this data is aggregated and non-personal, it cannot be deleted on an individual basis.
Third-party integrations
Data from integrations (Google Search Console, Meta Ads, Brevo, etc.) stored in Sublim is deleted. You must revoke access directly with those services for complete deletion on your end.
3. Deletion via your account
The fastest way to delete your data is through your account settings:
- Log in to your Sublim account.
- Go to Settings → Account → Danger zone.
- Click "Delete my account and all my data".
- Confirm the deletion. This action is irreversible.
4. Deletion by written request
If you cannot access your account or wish for partial deletion, send your request to privacy@sublimanalytics.com specifying:
- Your email address associated with the Sublim account.
- The type of data to delete (full account, specific project, integration).
- Any useful identifiers (project ID, workspace name).
5. Processing timelines
Immediate deletion
When you delete your account from settings, your data is marked for immediate deletion and becomes inaccessible within 24 hours.
Permanent deletion
Data is permanently purged from servers within 30 days. Encrypted backups are overwritten within a maximum of 90 days.
6. Deletion of Meta data (Facebook & Instagram)
If you have connected a Meta account (Facebook or Instagram) to Sublim Analytics, here is what happens upon deletion:
- The Meta access token is revoked and immediately deleted.
- Advertising and organic metrics synchronized from Meta are erased from our databases.
- No data from your Meta pages or accounts is retained after deletion.
- To revoke access for the Sublim app from Meta, go to facebook.com → Settings → Security and login → Apps and websites.
7. What cannot be deleted
Certain data may be retained for legal or accounting obligations:
- Invoices and payment records (10-year legal requirement in France).
- Anonymized security logs required for fraud detection (retained 12 months).
8. Deletion confirmation
Once deletion is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the address associated with your account. This email serves as proof that your data has been erased from our systems.
9. Complaint to the CNIL
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) at cnil.fr or by writing to: CNIL — 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07.
